Cakes Unique is owned and operated by husband and wife, Bruce and Dana Ellis. We've been serving the Cedar Creek Lake Area since 1997 and have expanded our customer base over the years to include Canton, Kaufman, Athens, Terrell, and Dallas. We take pride in creating unique, one of a kind cakes for our customers. We continue to keep ourselves updated on the latest trends and techniques in the confectionary world while maintaining the quality and value that sets us apart. We demand only the best ingredients for our cakes and our customers agree they can taste the difference!
We are not a mass production bakery, but rather a made to order custom cake and confection bake shop. We don't purchase prepared frozen cakes, but rather bake each cake fresh to order. Our customers always comment about the heavenly aromas that fill the air!!! We hand make our creamy buttercream icings and all of our gum paste flowers. The food items that we do purchase are screened for quality and come from vendors we consider the best in their respective fields. We have studied under some of the best confectionary artists in the world and have brought many techniques to the Cedar Creek Area before they even become popular in the bridal magazines. We take our time with each design and give it the personal touch we would give to our own families. We try to add special touches to each cake that give it a special flair and beauty all its own. We have a passion for cakes and we truly believe that our love of this art form is expressed in each of our cakes. We compete with other sugar artists regularly at cake show competitions and have won many ribbons with many first places and even Best of Division awards. On a personal note, we did not seek this business, but were rather blessed with it after what started as a hobby became the thriving business it is today. We are truly blessed by our Lord and Savior to have the privilege of making a living at something we enjoy so much. He has given us and grown our business and it our highest honor to serve Him through it. Thank you for your continued business as well as the friendship from so many of you.
